3 former Columbus Zoo executives indicted in $2.2M corruption scheme
A few years ago, Columbus Zoo was embroiled in controversy over misused funds from their upper management. This coincided with the retirement of Jack Hanna. Columbus had to reapply and requalify for their AZA accreditation, which they did earn back.

Fur expert claims animal activists have done more harm than good in mink release
Another 8,000+ mink were released from a farm in PA this past Sunday in an attack from animal rights extremists.
