What a wonderful week to celebrate our home and “the shining city on a hill" that is the American  dream. May we all continue to work together to preserve our Republic.

NYC has reintroduced the bill to ban carriage horses in Central Park after two unfortunate incidents occurred within just a couple of weeks of one another. First, a carriage horse died during a ride - necropsy results showed he consumed a japanese yew, a plant known to be highly toxic to horses. Then, a tragedy happened where a driver got out to take a photo for their riders when the horse got spooked and took off. Sadly, one of the riders fell out and was killed. These two combined pushed opponents over the edge and the bill was put back before city council shortly thereafter.
