- Dallas City Council decided to send the proposed ban back to the Quality of Life committee for review. This will ensure that the matter is further researched and that the voices of the few animal rights extremists are not what determines the fate of the horses and small businesses.
- The Oregon Department of Agriculture has adopted some new emergency rules concerning HPAI and H5N1 for livestock and poultry shows this summer.
- SCOTUS overturned Chevron deference, ending 40 years of regulatory authority in government orgs like USDA, FDA, OSHA, etc.
