'Sloth Encounters' pet shop owner opposes proposed NY exotic animal ban
NY S 6211 was introduced as a statewide ban on the ownership, sale, and trade of exotic animals in an effort to address the Suffolk County man that has a sloth encounter business. There was an initiative late last fall to ban those animals countywide, but that was tabled and has not had much traction since.
