Pet microchipping bill heads to Gov. Newsom, but other animal welfare efforts come up short   
A bill that would have secured blood banking for pets and a bill that would have prohibited hunters from bringing back trophies from their African hunts were both scrapped this past week.

NFR announces move from Las Vegas to Texas for 2020
